Proms, Formals, and more Proms!
The past two weeks has been busy! School dance time is here, and Mathews Manor was lucky enough to host three high school proms and a college formal. Ashville’s prom was first – and it was just beautiful. With a “light up the sky” theme, the stage was adorned with moons, stars, and sparkles. The students all looked lovely, and they really seemed to have a great time eating, dancing, and laughing.
On the 12th, Victory Christian School held their prom at our facility. The students at VC enjoyed a delicious sit-down dinner of Steak and Chicken. The teachers and students reminisced about the school year and introduced the senior class under a huge star shaped arch of balloons. Then, they spent the rest of the night raving with glow sticks and lights while the DJ busted out some dubstep tracks and dance tunes.
On the 13th, we hosted St. Clair County’s high school prom. The theme was “Masquerade”. Masks and candles were the centerpieces, and some masks were even provided on the buffet table and drink station for the students to wear. The DJ had an elaborate set up, and really made some noise as the students danced the night away.
Also on the 13th, was Sanford’s Zeta Tau Alpha formal. This event was held at Rebecca Gardens. The food was delicious – a vast array of small desserts – and everyone seemed to really enjoy them. A band was set up outside under the pavilion, and the students enjoyed live music as they danced and mingled. It was a beautiful night – Moon and stars shining, and no rain in sight!
